PLYMPTON, MA - Around 3:30 P.M. on April 23rd, Plympton Fire was dispatched to a brush fire on Rebecca Way. The Regional Old Colony Communications Center placed an all call in, which brought all off duty members back to cover the station and respond with multiple units to the scene. Plympton Fire responded with two brush trucks, a tanker and two engines. Mutual aid requests went out for Carver and Kingston; they both sent a brush truck to assist. The estimated land burned was 1.5-acres.
