After a long wait since the approval to move forward, the Allamuchy FD will be taking delivery of our new Heavy Rescue, a Pierce PUC with a 1500-GPM pump. This apparatus will replace our aged engine, and become a first-due responder for all accident types. The truck will be equipped with rescue needs, which includes TNT extrication equipment, Paratech lifting & stabilization equipment, CMC rope rescue systems, ice rescue, fire suppression equipment, and more. Following an in-service dedication, the department will be planning a wet down celebration at the firehouse later this summer.
