Pittsburgh firefighters quickly contain house fire

March 16, 2020 – City of Pittsburgh – At 4:56pm, firefighters were dispatched to fire zone 3-1 for a reported structure fire located in the 600 block of South Mathilda Street. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke showing and quickly attacked the fire. While crews attacked the fire, other crews searched for any victims. All searches were clear and the fire was quickly placed under control at 5:21pm. Crews remained on scene for about an hour for overhaul and clean up. No one was injured and the fire is now under investigation.
