NEWBURGH, NY - City of Newburgh police, fire and Empress EMS responded on April 15th to a vehicle into a porch with collapse at 100 Hasbrouck Street. Empress EMS transported the driver to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital. FD Command requested Code Enforcement, Red Cross and Central Hudson to the scene. Central Hudson arrived and made a power cut to the home. Residents of the home were allowed to enter through the back of the structure. Central Hudson brought a backhoe to dig up the street. Firefighters stood by as City of Newburgh Police investigated the cause.
