Malden MA - On 3/11/2022 Malden Fire responded to 63 Lowell street to the large multiple occupancy two and a half story wood frame for a fire. On arrival, companies encountered a large volume of fire taking hold of the void spaces on the top floor. A second alarm was quickly ordered. Companies worked inside the building for nearly an hour before being withdrawn to a defensive posture and the third alarm being transmitted. Multiple master streams were placed in action to knockdown heavy fire before re-entering.
