Crews Battle Two Alarm Dwelling Fire In Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe- On April 2nd at around 09:20 hrs, the Carbon County 911 Center dispatched crews to 514 Center Ave. for an active dwelling fire. More manpower was eventually needed and a second alarm was requested. The fire caused heavy damage to the rear first and second floors of the three story frame house. All three occupants were able to get out of the house safely. The blaze was under control in about an hour.
