LEXINGTON, MA - At 6:00 P.M. on Friday, April 5th, the Lexington Firefighters Local 1491 held a retirement party at the Knights of Columbus, located at 177 Bedford Street. Lexington Fire Chief Derek Sencabaugh and Union President Robert Green both discussed their personal connections with each of the four members that retired.
Assistant Chief Timothy Flaherty completed 37-years and was credited with being a firefighter’s chief with a vast knowledge of building construction and codes due to his plumbing background. Lieutenants Robert Levesque and Robert Morency, as well as Firefighter Michael Naughton also retired.
Collectively, these men had over 100-years with the Lexington Fire Department. Family and friends enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner and discussed decades of memories. Thank you to the Lexington Fire Aid & Relief Committee for putting on this wonderful event.
Enjoy a happy, healthy, and safe retirement gentlemen!
