FALL RIVER, MA - Around 7:25 A.M. on Friday morning, April 5th, firefighters responded to 46 Linden Street for a report of flames showing on the third-floor. Car 2 arrived under the Command of District Chief Matt Johnson, who made his way to the top floor of a two-and-a-half-story wood-frame dwelling and reported heavy smoke on the third-floor. Engine 2 laid an attack line to the third-floor while also backing themselves up to a nearby hydrant. Crews quickly knocked down the visible fire and began overhauling. The tenant reported everyone out of the building with the exception of a pet cat. Members of Ladder 4 were able to locate the cat and turned it over to the owner and EMS.
