Dwelling Fire in Pennsburg

PENNSBURG, PA - On Tuesday, March 30th at 3:15 A.M., the Pennsburg Fire Co. was dispatched to a dwelling fire at 45 Fourth St. in the borough. Upon arrival Chief 65 had nothing showing from the exterior but had a smoke condition in the interior. After going inside to investigate it was found to be a smoke condition from a malfunctioning oil burner. Crews used fans to ventilate the structure. There was no injuries. The condition was brought under control within the half hour. Assisting Pennsburg were fire companies from East Greenville and Red Hill. Upper Perk EMS also responded to the location.
