Medford, NY - SCPD 6th Pct. and Medford F.D. responded at approximately 5:15 A.M. on March 29th to a car fire involving a Ford Mustang. Upon their arrival, firefighters found the vehicle fully engulfed by flames. The incident occurred while the Mustang was heading northbound on Route 112 at the Long Island Expressway North Service Road. Route 112 was closed in both directions for the duration of the incident. The driver of the Mustang was able to escape without injury.
