CPR/Dfib Hands on Class

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

March 24th, 2 members from the Pasco Fire Community Service came out to do a hands on CPR/Dfib class to about 50 resident's of the Heritage Pines 55 and over community. The class came about after myself had performed CPR on a 64 year old male whom I was golfing with back on September 29th 2024. The golfer survived a massive heart attack known as the "widow maker" and left the hospital just after staying 2 days. A few people in the community said that because of what happened, they wanted to learn from this valuable life lesson themselves and wanted to take the course. I was able to set it up with the General Manager and get this done. We will continue to do more of this here in the remote future.
