Reading, PA - On Sunday, March 22nd firefighters were alerted to a dryer on fire at 839 North 10th Street. Engine 9 arrived at a single-story laundromat with smoke showing from the rear. Firefighters stretched a hose line into the building and quickly knocked down the fire. Crews opened up the wall above the unit and vented the smoke from the building. No injuries were reported. Units cleared within 45 minutes.
