PEPPERELL, MA - Pepperell Fire was dispatched to 58 Mill Street for a reported fire on February 15th. Police arrived first and confirmed smoke showing. Fire companies arrived on scene, reported heavy smoke showing and struck the working fire. Services were able to assist a resident from the building. Pepperell C1 arrived on scene and struck the second-alarm, as well as special requesting a Nashua engine. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, but died from injuries sustained. Mutual aid from Nashua, Groton, Hollis, Townsend and Dunstable assisted at the scene.
