Fall River, Ma. On Monday March 17th. around 2:45 pm. firefighters responded to a still alarm at 386 Locust Street. On arrival Command called a working structure fire and called for an additional pump to respond. The fire building was a 177 year old Victorian built in 1848 that contained numerous void spaces and balloon frame construction which allowed the fire to spread rapidly. Four adults and one child were home at the time and three were transported due to smoke inhalation concerns. Five dogs and two cats were unaccounted for.
