TURTLE CREEK, PA - Just before 4:00 A.M. on March 16th, fire crews were dispatched to the 1800 block of Oak Avenue Ext. in Turtle Creek for a reported house on fire. Crews arrived to find a duplex with fire showing from the roof. Crews went to work and all searches came up negative. The fire quickly went to two alarms as crews worked for over two hours before the fire was finally placed under control. It appears that no one lived in the duplex at the time of the fire. Several firefighters were treated with minor injuries. The fire is now under investigation.
