The City of Norwalk Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 2:10 pm.

The fire was located at #7 Bartlett Manor in a 1.5 story cape cod style house. Initial reports stated the outside of the house was on fire.

Upon arrival, Engine 1 encountered heavy smoke coming from what appeared to be the rear of the home.  As an attack line was being stretched, the first due engine officer stated there was a large amount of home furnishings on the back patio on fire.  The large volume of fire melted the siding on the back of the house which was beginning to catch fire.  The fire was extinguished in under 10 minutes by a 1st alarm assignment consisting of 3 Engines, 2 Ladder Trucks, 1 Heavy Rescue, and the Deputy Chief totaling 34 personnel.

There were no reported injuries.  The Norwalk Fire Marshal Division is investigating the cause of the fire.
