On Friday, March 7, 2025, at approximately 1815 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot inside 132 Herkimer Street, within the confines of the 79 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds about the body. EMS responded to the location and transported the male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing
