NEWBURGH, NY - Middlehope FD responded to a three-vehicle MVA with injuries at 5144 State Route 9W on March 8th. Town of Newburgh Police and EMS were at the scene, and Cronomer Valley FD was also requested to responded. Firefighters used hand lines to water down a vehicle that was smoking, and the Hurst tool to open hoods of the vehicles. They also spread speedy dry on fluids on the roadway. Town of Newburgh EMS transported two subjects to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital. The area was closed between Chestnut Lane and Fostertown Road while Town of Newburgh police investigated the scene.
