Middle River, MD - Shortly before 10:00 P.M. on Saturday night, March 6th, Baltimore County eastside units in the 3rd Battalion were dispatched for a reported apartment fire at 9801 Langs Road (Fire Box 12-8).
First-arriving Baltimore County Engine 12 reported fire showing on the third floor and through the roof of a three-story garden-style apartment building and requested a second-alarm. Crews made an aggressive attack with multiple handlines and two ladder pipes and were able to confine the fire to the building of origin.
Firefighters rescued one caged rabbit from the fire building, and one adult was transported to an area hospital for evaluation and treatment of smoke inhalation.
