Mastic Beach FD Handles A EMS Assist

Mastic Beach N.Y. - At approximately 2:46 PM on Friday, March 5th the Mastic Beach fire department was toned out for a EMS lift assist with the Mastic Beach volunteer ambulance company on Mastic Beach road. The first unit on the road was engine 5-13-3 and quickly arrived on scene, firefighters quickly went to work with helping ems get the patient on a Reeves back board and get the patient outside and on the stretcher and loaded in the ambulance. The injured person was transported to a near by hospital with unknown injures.
