CORNWALL, NY - Cornwall FD responded to a vehicle off the roadway northbound on the NYS Thruway, February 23rd. Car 1 arrived to find a vehicle on top of a tree with heavy entrapment. Cornwall EMS requested a MedEvac launched. Firefighters worked on the trapped subject in the vehicle while a MedEvac landed in the northbound lane of the Thruway. New York State Police officers are investigating the cause.
