At 10:29 am on Sunday, 2/23/2025 the Taftville Fire Department was dispatched to Hunters Avenue near Hunters Road for a truck fire. Engine 21 arrived at 10:34 with an engine compartment fire and stretched their bumper line. Engine 22 arrived next and assisted with opening up. The Norwich Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
