The Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD) in Seminole County, Fla. recently promoted two new Lieutenants to its ranks: Lt. Teo Garcia and Lt. Anthony Vargas.

Lt. Teo Garcia has been with SCFD since 2015 when the City of Casselberry FD merged with SCFD and he started as a firefighter in 2006. Lt. Garcia comes from a long line of firefighters as his Great-Grandfather Roy Littleton was a Lieutenant in 1921 and his Uncle Will Littleton was a Battalion Chief with the City of Casselberry Fire Department.

“I love living and working in Seminole County and want the best for my neighbors and other Seminole County residents” - Lt. Teo Garcia

Lt. Vargas is a 16-year veteran of SCFD and was mentored by Lt. Steve Molnar, who was his Lieutenant for over a decade.

“I believe SCFD leads the way in fire responses and EMS in the state. The personnel are the best and I have worked with great crews - past and present. Thank you for all of those in the Department who have taught me and motivated me throughout the years, especially Lt. Molnar.”

- Lt. Anthony Vargas
