Allentown- The AFD responded to a working EOR apartment fire at 1224 W. Chew St. on January 5, 2025 slightly before 10:00 hrs. Initially, there was a report that five people were trapped but, everyone made it out okay. The second alarm fire was centered on the third floor with the T-2 crew venting the roof. Companies were able to get a good knock on the fire.
