This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.
At 12:50pm Tuesday, Perkiomen Twp’s Engine 66 and an all-volunteer crew were dispatched to the Royal Farms on Main Street in Collegeville for a report of a vehicle fire in front of the entrance. The incident was upgraded to a building fire due to that this was a gasoline station and the vehicle’s proximity to the building. The vehicle was quickly extinguished. Our volunteers were in service for about 40 minutes. Engine 66 was dispatched as mutual aid to support Collegeville Fire Company.
