CANTERBURY, NH - On February 4th, a barn was destroyed in a fire on Shaker Road. The fire was dispatched at 3:00 A.M. for a report of a barn fire with automatic mutual aid from Belmont, Loudon, Laconia, Tilton-Northfield, Epsom and Penacook Rescue. Belmont arrived first due and stretched a line onto the fire as the barn quickly collapsed. The fire was brought under control within the hour.
