Pasco Fire received a call for a fire at the end of Placid Rd. The first call came in for an outside fire, and then the call for possible structure fire. First due Engine 39 arrived and the crew were unable to get the Engine down the dirt road to the area on fire. At this time they had to call in brush trucks for they are 4-wheel drive and a lot smaller to get in. The area which was large and contained a lot of miscellaneous items form a car to other items including propane tanks that were exploding during the fire. The fire was moving fast and picking up a lot of the brush that surrounded the large dirt area as flames rushed up some of the smaller trees. The Florida State Forestry team was also called in to assist.
