Sarasota County held their annual Fire Fest at Carlton Reserve. This event drew over 700 spectators. This event is completely free to all. The day includes hay rides, face painting, live animals, and educational information on Prescribed Fire and the environment. Florida Forestry along with Florida Fish and Wildland Fire Division. The two big draws are the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Helicopter and two live fire demos.
