At approximately 13:00 hours Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire. The first due engine arrived within 5 minutes with smoke and flames showing from the house. Upon the size up it was identified that there were active down power lines and a ruptured natural gas line. There was a response of 4 engines, 1 Battalion Chief and 1 EMS unit. This fire was brought under control and extinguished within 30 minutes of the first arriving units. There were no injuries to fire department personnel or civilians.
