Around 7:45-7:50 am, Selkirk Fire along with elsmere Fire, were dispatch to the middle of Corning hill for a tractor trailer with tires on fire. The truck was traveling down the hill when the driver notice smoke coming from the rear of the trailer. Units on scene believe that the brakes caught on fire and cause the issue. traffic was backed up both ways going up and down the hill. units quickly put out the fire and continued to use hot imagining thermal device to see more hot spots inside the tire and wheels.
