Modular school building damage by fire in Kingston,PA

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Saturday January 25th around 1:30pm the Kingston/Forty Fort fire department structure fire box was dispatched for a reported structure fire at a modular school building. When fire crews arrived on scene smoke was showing from the building. Kingston fire deployed 2 hose lines one for interior operations and one for exterior operations. Crews knocked the fire down quickly but due to how the structure was built crews had to open up the walls fully from the outside and inside and even the floor to get a better knock on the fire in hard to reach areas. Once the fire was out and overhaul was complete an investigation was started and it was determined the fire was accidental and the building won't be able to be used for a period of time.
