BRADENTON, FL - The City of Bradenton was dispatched to a report of trees on fire next to Bradenton Village Apartments, January 23rd. While enroute, units saw a large black column of smoke. Once on scene, companies had limited access to the fire. Firefighters cut through a chain link fence and then had to cut their way through thick Brazilian Pepper. A one-and-a-half-inch line was established to put out the heavies on fire.
