YAPHANK, NY - On the evening of January 22nd, the Yaphank Fire Department was activated for a reported motor vehicle accident with car fire at Yaphank Middle Island Rd. On arrival of 5-30-31, he had an involved auto and no one trapped. 5-30-7 and 5-30-9 responded in and extinguished all fire. Crews went back into service within 30 minutes.
