ALBERT, MN - On January 23, 2010 at 9:20 p.m. Albert Lea Fire Department was dispatched to a possible chimney fire at 2217 S.E. Marshal.
Upon arrival Engine 918 requested Ladder 916 to respond to the scene for a roof attack.
Efforts were hard going due to recent freezing rain and mixed precipitation on the roof. There were numerous calls for manpower needed at the scene along with City of Albert Police Department and the local Red Cross.
Fire investigations have yet to determine the cause of the fire in the roof and or chimney area.
