On Tuesday night, December 31, 2024, First Responders were invited to Temple Beth Jacob on North Street in Newburgh. Every year JCC invites them for the lighting of the Menorah. Three Town/Newburgh Ambulances -Firefighters arrived. Inside Cantor Carl Sayers welcomed everyone and thanked them for coming. Inside they lite the indoor Menorah- afterwards Cantor Sayers played piano as everyone sang songs . Everyone then went outside to light the outdoor Menorah-afterwards everyone was treated to hot chocolate and donuts.
