WALTHAM, MA - An accident at 450 Totten Pond Road in Waltham came in as a MVA with rollover on January 6th. Engine 2, Rescue 1 and Medic 1 responded. Engine 2 reported multiple vehicles involved, but none overturned. Two additional medic units were then requested. Five vehicles were involved and scattered for 300’ down Totten Pond Road. Three vehicles were totaled. Two people were taken to Lahey Trauma Center, one was transported to Newton Wellesley Hospital. 

Ironically, it was exactly one month to the day that 1/4 mile away, a Waltham Police Officer was killed in a horrific accident. The Waltham Police Reconstruction Team was investigating the accident.
