For the last several years the Daytona Beach Fire Department has teamed up with a local organization to collect toys to be distributed to underprivileged children in the Volusia/ Flagler communities. With the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic there was a massive amount of families looking for assistance to provide for Christmas this year. Our firefighters and community did not let us down, and as a result 881 families were provided with toys for the holiday.
