Oneonta, AL - Oneonta Fire is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Payne to the position of Captain. Captain Payne began his service with Oneonta in 1993 as a Part-Time Recruit Firefighter. He has progressed through the firefighter ranks, most recently serving as Lieutenant of B shift. He has made many contributions to the Fire Department along the way. Captain Payne holds numerous certifications and serves the department in many aspects. Please join us in congratulating Captain Payne on his recent promotion.
