Lyndhurst battles house fire in cold temps.

At 6;35 pm on the evening of December 19th Lyndhurst fire department was dispatched to 52 Livingston Avenue on a reported house fire. Upon arrival, a heavy fire was showing from the rear of the first floor of the home and a vehicle that ignited as a result of the radiant heat in the rear driveway. First due engine company, Engine 1, started an interior attack, and a exposure line was stretched to the bravo of the residence to extinguish the vehicle. As a result, the fire was held to the floor of origin.
Mutual aid from Norh Arlington FD with a FAST team and Rutherford assisted on scene, while East Rutherford and Secaucus provided coverage. The fire was declared unintentional after investigation
