In House Training LLC recently held a Basic Wildland Class “S-190 S-130 L-180” at Shamrock Park & Nature Area in Venice FL. Over two dozen students from around the state attended this 40-hour course. Students spent 32 hours in the classroom; the last day was the field day which brought everything they learned in class to the field. Some of the students will stay in state to fight fires and some out of state, and some will use their new learned skills for prescribed fire.
