On November 20th at 11:14 am the Red Hill Fire Company, Pennsburg Fire Company, Upper Salford Fire Company Water Rescue and plymouth EMS were dispatched for a water rescue at the Walt Road recreation area in Upper Hanover Township. Once on the scene Squad 71 had a male who was walking out to the water stuck up to his waist in the mud. The rescue lasted 45 minutes, and the rescuers were able to lift him out of the mud unto a stokes basket.
