Town of Longboat Key Fire Rescue Station 92, located at 2162 Gulf of Mexico Drive, opened this August. This fire house is a rebuild of our old station that was built in 1985. The facility provides 3 drive through apparatus bays, 5 bunks, fitness facility, and was built with the “Hot Zone” design in mind, allowing for red, yellow, and green zones. Responding from this station include Truck 92, Rescue 92, along with our first in Marine Boat Captains. This project cost approximately $5 million.
