Lower Alloways Creek Fire & Rescue introduced a third boat to its marine fleet on August 17 in Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey. The new boat, which is 15 feet long and model G3, is fitted with a 25-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine. It has been assigned to Station 18-2. The department explained that this extra boat is anticipated to help cut down on the time it takes to respond to marine emergencies in the southern part of their service area.
