Chippewa Township Reports 435 Calls Through June

In June 2026, the Chippewa Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to 75 events, comprising 32 rapid response service (QRS) calls and 43 fire calls.


The department continued to offer emergency response and fire protection in Chippewa Township and the adjacent mutual aid areas, handling 435 occurrences in the first half of the year. To ensure operational readiness, members underwent routine training, certifications, equipment maintenance, and ongoing education in addition to emergency calls.
