Panama City, FL - The Callaway Fire Department conducted comprehensive water rescue training to strengthen skills needed for aquatic emergencies.

Led by instructors from the Panama City Fire Department, crews trained in water survival techniques, buoyancy while wearing turnout gear, and the effective deployment of rescue equipment. Firefighters also practiced safe victim removal methods in a variety of simulated scenarios.

The hands-on training improved operational readiness and reinforced the department’s ability to respond safely and effectively to water-related incidents.
