Canton, GA - The Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services participated in an intensive Rescue Boat Operations course hosted by the City of Dalton Fire Department, alongside multiple regional agencies.
Firefighters trained in critical water rescue skills, including boat handling, victim recovery, and coordinated multiagency operations. A key component of the training focused on low-light conditions, preparing crews to operate safely and effectively during nighttime water emergencies.
The course enhanced operational readiness for incidents on local waterways, reinforcing the importance of continuous training and regional collaboration. Instruction and support were also provided by Trident Rescue.
