Garden City, GA - Garden City Fire Rescue crews responded to a call involving a cat trapped inside a vehicle’s engine compartment.

Firefighters located the animal lodged in the rear of the engine bay and, with assistance from Garden City Police and Public Works, safely freed it.

The cat was turned over to police and transported to Chatham County Animal Services for evaluation. Officials credited teamwork for the successful rescue.
