Deep River, CT - Firefighters from Deep River, Chester, and Essex departments recently came together for a multi-agency training exercise focused on complex vehicle extrication.

Crews were divided into three groups, each assigned a different accident scenario involving one vehicle stacked on top of another. Firefighters worked to stabilize the upper vehicle before using specialized tools to access and free potential occupants trapped below.

The drill emphasized teamwork, coordination, and problem-solving, while giving members the chance to share ideas, techniques, and experience with new equipment. The collaboration provided valuable hands-on experience in managing challenging rescue situations.
