Rain Doesn't Slow Patton Jubilee Festivities

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Despite times of uncertain weather, locals continued to support the annual Jubilee, and Patton Fire Company No. 1 congratulated the community for another wonderful day.

For the well-liked Kids Truck Rides, firemen used the department's Rescue Engine rather than the Mack truck to keep kids dry during sporadic downpours. Families continued to enjoy the activity throughout the day, according to the organizers, despite the alteration.

The Jubilee parade, which attracted fans along the route to support competitors, and the Battle of the Barrel competition were additional highlights. Additionally, the department invited the community to return for the closing day's events, which included a car cruise, basket raffle, and chicken dinner.
