Foster, RI - Members from the Foster fire departments, along with Sterling and East Killingly, participated in a truck and equipment familiarization training aimed at enhancing interagency coordination.

The training provided hands-on experience with various apparatus, tools, and equipment from each department, helping personnel better understand available resources and their locations. This knowledge plays a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient operations during mutual aid incidents.

With the communities situated along the Rhode Island and Connecticut state line, cross-border mutual aid remains essential. Training together allows departments to operate seamlessly as one team, ensuring a more effective response to emergencies regardless of jurisdictional boundaries.
